4-07-04 (evening)
Technical inspection begins.
Some cars need minor repair work, which I feel can be done rather quickly.

All cars are very impressive. I can't wait to qualify them and post the results.

4-07-04 The cars have all been through tech. Only three need some small repair (and only for the body mounting) I am very impressed with them all!
Tomorrow... Qualifying.
We are still waiting for at least two more cars to arrive.
Victor.

4-09-04 Qualifying is done. You can read the results on the Qualifying page. I expect about two more cars to arrive then I will add them to the results.

4-12-04 Larry Shephards cars have been received and they have been ran for their qualifying times. They run well!

4-12-04 News that Russell Sheldon will send an entry after all, came in today.

4-15-04 The Sheldon entry has been run for its qualifying times.

4-16-04 A NASCAR type "Happy hour" was held tonight to run the cars a bit after some braid changes, tire cleaning, and checks to them. What has always been interesting to me for many years is that this track seems to be different (as some real tracks) depending on many variables (I suppose). In the happy hour run, the car of Bill Brehm the red Audi TT was quickest. It also has the shortest wheelbase, I think. A braid/contact problem on Adrian Gray's car was found today and repaired. Now the car performs even better. A good note to all, in case my track is chosen again in the future World proxy races, is that the braid on this track is not .250" 1/4" but rather the smaller size of .1875 or 3/16th" so the cars braid is best narrow. Russell Sheldon's car that just arrived is now showing signs that the motor may have picked up some "punch"  More news tomorrow before the race.

04-17-04 Race day. Round 2 of the WPR is now complete and the results can be found on the results page. The race was not without its share of problems though, as I invited to many drivers without realizing it until race time. Rene Cortez decided he would not drive. I felt rather bad for having him come down all this way. More details another day.

04-18-04 I am still in the process of completing the race details and information. I will also try to pack the cars in the next couple days.

04-22-04 After a few days break it's back to the track tomorrow where we (Dave R.and myself) will run each car through a final 2min run on red lane, in order to best give feed back to each builder/owner details about their car and its performance here at the Fergland track.
