11-07-07 Now that some issues and important matters
are favorable, I am going to answer the call (many emails) and get
back to what TrueScale is world renowned for. If you have been waiting
for bodies please send me an email.
11-01-07 Ebay selling? Email questions have prompted me to explain
here:
You may have seen items or our "TSR" bodies on Ebay at one time.
I don't normally offer bodies on Ebay. Advertising is the main goal.
I will continue to offer items on Ebay that I have had for many years.
I want to offer to those that would use them. I need the space!
08-22-05 and with the enjoyment of our customers in
mind. We do so by meeting your needs for slot car bodies of many
types. Some not yet made available as we continue to work on the
patterns and molds/tools for them.
We have been told many times (and more recently), that our "TrueScale
Products" bodies set the standard for modern day Scale model car racing
and surpass the detail and quality of the great body producers of the
past"
We have to agree!
As we wind back up into production we hope to bring more to the Scale
model car world and if you would like to see a certain body type
please let us know.
We will continue to offer our durable P.E.T.G, and tuff Lexan plastic bodies that are commonly known for there
durability but lack of detail. Do not be fooled by anyone that claims
Lexan offers as much detail on bodies as P.E.T.G. It is widely known
by all, that P.E.T.G. and P.E.T. plastic is simply the best when
detail, realism and good overall (at reasonable speeds) durability is
concerned.
Many have asked "What has happened"? To best explain, I can tell you
that I felt it best to back away from producing bodies in an effort to
complete other obligations or projects. Projects like the home in
Tustin, California which we purchase four years ago that has long much
needed some remodeling. With so many body orders over the last few
years and the demand for myself (Victor) to be elsewhere at times with
other obligations, I felt that TrueScale Products had to stop taking
orders for sometime.
11-15-04 TSP has had very busy days.
They say that "No news is good news" However I do have some news. The
TSP online shop will close for our yearly vacation Through December.
We will continue to fill all orders that we received before then.
During this time I hope to complete a few projects that will add
bodies to the GTP and LM class of bodies.
11-10-04 Contact with our long time
friend and semi-partner Dennis Cagle "Mr Western States" has
been lost. We have not heard from him in awhile and do not know any
news about him. We do have an idea what has happened to him. If anyone
knows any info on this please let us know.
6-01-04 After many emails about the
need for a better performing scale chassis, we have drawn up plans to
produce a chassis in both 1/32 and 1/24 scale.
A chassis that will have all of the features that we regularly hear
are needed for a good performance chassis. More details soon.
04-11-04 Here at TrueScale Products,
we will host the second round of the World Proxy Race for 1/32 model
racing cars. Please
more information on this race.
01-25-04 Having been delayed by many
orders, we now continue work on the F550M GT body mold. Also being
worked on is the 1/32 Corvette Grand Sport mold for bodies. With many
body mold projects in progress at this time by TSP and TSP associates
here locally and in Europe, we will have a few new offerings before
summer.
12-01-03 Recent emails and
communications have indicated that the slot car hobby in the US is
headed more towards "Scale" or "True Scale". Something that we here at
TrueScale Products have been effectively promoting for almost 24
years.
12-01-03 With the introduction of a
"perfect for scale racing" chassis by Slick 7 and the development of
others by different manufacturers soon to be added to the market, it
seems that Scale is becoming the way for some organizations like the
USRA. TrueScale Products has been contacted about the availability of
scale bodies for the future of slot racing here in the US.
Europe and Asia have always been where interest in scale Scale car
racing has been the highest. As always, we hope to do our part to help
True Scale slot car racing.
11-04-03 Work on the 1/24 F550M (as
it will be called) has progress nicely.
11-03-03 the website How-to page now has it's first topic,
"Pattern making"
9-20-03 New website! We are pleased to be online
again. Our website will soon have many interesting information
centers.
